About AINoob AI Lab
AINoob AI Lab is a set of free, focused tools for people who work with AI models: business owners budgeting an AI project, marketers turning AI drafts into finished copy, and developers building on model APIs.
Why it exists
Chat assistants can answer almost any question, but they are poor at certain jobs. They cannot tell you exactly how many tokens your document uses, they do not know this week's API prices, and they will happily produce JSON that breaks your app. Those jobs need precise, repeatable tools. That is what this site provides.
How the tools work
Every tool runs in your web browser. When you paste text, it is processed on your own device and never uploaded. The site does not use a paid AI service behind the scenes, which is why it can stay free without limits or accounts.
- Token counts for OpenAI models use the open-source o200k_base tokenizer, the same encoding OpenAI's own models use. Counts for other providers are labelled as estimates.
- Markdown conversion uses the open-source marked library and sanitises output with DOMPurify.
- Calculations such as costs and context budgets are simple, transparent arithmetic, explained on each tool page with a worked example.
Where the prices come from
Model prices and context sizes come from the public price list maintained by the open-source LiteLLM project, which is used by many developer tools. Every week an automated job checks that list, filters it to the main models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, DeepSeek and Mistral, and updates the site. If any price would change by more than three times in a single week, that change is held back until a person has checked it. Every change is listed on the data updates page, with links to each provider's official pricing.
Accuracy
We test each tool against worked examples and label anything approximate. Prices are a guide: providers change them, offer discounts and sometimes price differently by region or plan. Confirm with the provider before you commit a budget. If you spot an error, please tell us; corrections are made quickly.
Who runs it
AINoob AI Lab is run by AINoob, based in Malaysia, the team behind AINoob, which gives small businesses ready-made AI tools such as an AI receptionist, live chat and review replies. The free tools here are separate from those paid services: you never need an account to use them. AINoob AI Lab is independent of the AI model providers and is not endorsed by any of them. Product names belong to their owners.
Advertising
The free tools are funded by advertising. Ads never change tool results or the order of models in the price comparison, and no provider pays to be listed.
